I guess you're wondering who I am. Well, I am a work at home mom to three gorgeous kids. Declan who is 6, Breccan who is 4, and Esme who is 3. Yes, you're doing the math correctly, I had 3 kids in 4 years, so my life is crazy and fun, a little frantic and slightly hectic but blessed and full as well. Most of all my life is real, but with all the craziness it brings I need a way to keep myself centered and calm and that is where crafts come in. They help me focus and remember who I am and why I chose the life I have.
This blog is to help share the things I have learned as an adult, a parent, and a crafter. I hope it helps you find your center and discover a love for crafting too.
I am so honored to be a part of this awesome blog and absolutely adore Stacey,
her kids, and her craftiness. I’m a mom of two beautiful girls – Jocelyn, who is 7, and Adelyn who is my "forever 7 month old" baby in Heaven. We moved cross-country from all we’ve ever known in Pennsylvania to the West Coast (first to sunny SoCal and now to Oregon), so I’ve got a whole lot of exploration and discovery ahead of me that I’d love to share with you.
I’ve always had a passion for writing and anything creative – when emotions are
high or life gets hectic, I can always turn to Pinterest, Etsy, or myriad blogs by
like-minded mamas and find inspiration and peace. And yes, I'm a loss mom, so a great deal of my musings are about grief and learning to live without my baby. More than ever, I want to honor her by sharing her story and minimizing the stigma of child loss.
Thank you for allowing me to share a little bit about my life with all of you!
